We are Chris, Wendy and Sam Bancroft we have owned Muir Lea Stores since November 2013, since this time we feel we have improved the shop into the store the village deserves.
We are situated in the heart of the lower village of Robin Hood’s Bay and open everyday (expect Christmas Day, because my other job is Santa Clause and after been up all night I need the day off). We are here for locals, day tippers and people staying in the village and offer a large range of goods from Food to Wine, Newspapers to Milk and Beach Toys to Gifts.
Our aim since taking the shop over has been to offer the widest range of products possible at the most competitively prices we can. To do this we continually work on our supply network and are constantly changing items within our store.
